Karen Perinbam
Spiritual Director - Enneagram Coach - Coach (spiritual formation)
My love of learning earned me Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees, and my first profession as an elementary school teacher. Next came the career of parenting our three children. More recently, I was caregiver my parents and in-laws. Currently, I work with a small, grassroots non-profit organization. I have held a variety of jobs and ministry roles which led me to become a spiritual director and coach (Enneagram, spiritual formation, goal). My greatest joys come from walking with others, literally and figuratively, at any age - as they seek the Divine Presence in their life.
I am passionate about helping others deepen their relationship with God. Spiritual direction sessions are a contemplative practice and may include silence, prayer, and attending to what stirs within as you share your experience. When possible and suitable, we might incorporate nature, movement and the arts to both receive and to express. As a certified spiritual director, I help you notice, attend to and respond to the ways God is at work in your life.
With me as your certified Enneagram coach, we begin the journey of discovering your Enneagram personality type. From there we notice strengths and areas of growth, and discover "paths" leading to the full expression of your self. Further coaching sessions beyond typing can be arranged as needed.
As a coach, we work together to first clarify the area where you would like to see growth (faith, fitness, finances, family, future goals, and so on) then set specific goals and put into place actions to get you there. And then we celebrate all your successes, big and small!
All services are tailored to your individual needs and may include a combination of Spiritual Direction and Coaching. Let's chat and we can map out a plan based on your specific needs and goals.
